I also have Chime bank... Just a regular checking account not a prepaid account.. I use my chime account to update my DD info on the 15th and last weekend it updated saying it would be deposited on April 30. April 29 I got an email from chime saying they had to verify my identity and I had 24 hours to send them copies of our 2019 tax forms and both of our valid government issued IDs. I wrote back within 2 hours and still haven't received a response or my payment. I called today and was informed that anyone who filed a tax return with someone else had to verify both parties information that's on the check and the return and Chime had 48 hours to respond to my email and deposit my check.... Well 48 hours was a 3pm yesterday and I still haven't received a response or had my check deposited yet. I'm really not happy... They literally have had my check for almost 3 days now and are just holding on to my money that I NEED! I will probably be cancelling my account after this!
