Going to be an interesting question, I wish I had an answer for you. Normally the tax advocate could definitely help with most tax issues; but the IRS employee I spoke with a few days ago said that at this time, they have no access to the Stimulus system at all. So I'm not sure if they're going to be able to cut through red tape and get an answer either; half of ours was taken, and we have no idea why (neither of us owes child support), and there's absolutely no way to find out until we either get a letter or they offer live support for stimulus questions. But hopefully, it sure doesn't hurt to try.
