- So I rushed to get my taxes done. I missed a w2, I fixed it and also added my girlfriend as a dependent. She doesn't work in paid for all her expenses. But I havnt sent in the amendment yet and she recieved a stimulus check. What happens?
Might I add, she was not claimed on the previous year's taxes and she has yet to file her taxes for this year.
