In the past, I used to get notification when there was a reply on my posting but not this time. Don't know why and I thought no one has an answer that is why I am late 3 weeks to reply.
Do you know that SS looks back 2 years to determine your IRMAA? I do and fully understand that.
I know the numbers to be applied for next 2 years are basically a projection and prediction based on inflation and the final numbers will be out in November prior to the IRMAA to be applied.
In your case, having to paid another $500 is what I am afraid of as it will apply to two of us.
I just hope the next President will raised the threshold.
