Head of household

I have two questions which would be asked after the following statements. I am a single, retired civil service worker receiving a pension for $57,000. I am also employed in the private sector and received  $89,000 in income. My AGI for the year is $146,000. I had paid off the mortgage for my home so now I am only responsible for the property tax. My 33 year old daughter is a civil service worker with the AGI of $41,000. She is been residing with me in my home. Question # 1: Can I claim the filing status of Head of household since I may have a qualifying person in the household?  And question  #2: If I could claim the HOH, my daughter doesn’t check the box in the Standard Deduction area for “Someone can claim you as a dependent”  on her tax return?  Her filing status would be Single.
