Same with Franklin Templeton.  Never have for a number of years.  However, my 1099R is not just for the QCD they are for the full distribution for the year and include RMD, QCDs, and other distribution as I round up my RMD to the next $100.00.   As you enter the 1099R in TT it asks did some/all go to QCD then how much?

I have always had Franklin make the check to the charity but send it to my address. Then I send the check with a cover letter to the charity, and the charity sends me a receipt. Otherwise, the charity does not know where to send the receipt as the check only shows "Gifted by and my name" my address is not provided. Also up untill this year Franklin Templeton did not send me any indication that the charity's check had been mailed other than a line item on the quarterly statement.
