Stays for 7 years and after that u can dispute for it to be removed. Also carl, some things tou said are false.. i had a 750 credit score when i filed for bankrupsty . I made my payments until the day i filed to keep it that way. When i filed and my accts started closing my score dropped to a 620 . A year after filing im at a 680 and was able to recieve a credit card with a low credit limit to help boost my score abd i was even able to buy a good vehicle
