How do I override the Military Benefits Subtraction rule for VA on TurboTax since it is not consistent with state law (https://www.tax.virginia.gov/military-benefits-faq)
TurboTax suggest I need to be 55, but for tax year 2024, the rule states (from tax.virginia.gov FAQ):
How old do I have to be to claim the Military Benefits Subtraction?
You must be 55 or older. Beginning with taxable year 2024 (returns usually filed in 2025,) you can subtract these benefits regardless of your age.
