Tax help for military filers

Thanks for your response. I apologize for not being clear in my request. I am currently filing my state return and came to the point asking if I was a military retiree and had received retirement pay from the Federal government. If that was the case (I retired with 20 years), I could deduct that military retirement (if it is part of my federal tax return income). This tax deduction sounds too good to be true, but it, in fact, is true.
I found the following link in another reply on this community site and found the information I needed!
Again, thanks for responding. After being retired from the USAF for over 25 years and filling taxes, this is indeed a first.
