I completed a DD Form 2058 to change my State of Legal Residence to Missouri and registered my vehicle in Missouri.
My understanding is that is enough to change my State of Legal Residence to Missouri but I am unsure about this.
So is my W-2 wrong to still claim Illinois and will I need to request my W-2 to be updated to reflect Missouri as the claimed state before I file?
Or will I still be filing in Illinois because my W-2 has IL as my claimed state?
