My husband is in the military and home state is texas, however, we live in Virginia and I have to file virginia state taxes. How do I do this and can I do it online?

The online version says I have to purchase the CD and do Married Separate and some complicated instructions, but my understanding is my husband does not need to file state taxes. It's just me?
