Should I put the whole amount of my pay at the overseas military pay or just put 15,000?
Hi, I'm really confused how much I have to put at oversea military wages. Should I just put the whole amount of my pay which is 23,842?
I don't understand what this means: "You can exclude up to $15,000 of your overseas duty pay from Maryland taxable income."
I'm an active duty soldier who is stationed in Korea for one and a half years. I'm a single and don't have any cars or property.
Can anybody know the answer??
Thanks

Tax help for military filers
Since your total military pay was earned overseas then subtract $15,000 from your total military pay and enter the difference in the box.
