To preview your 1040 form
- Click on Tax Tools on the left hand side
- Tools
- View Tax Summary
- Preview My 1040
The amount should show on your 1040 form on Line 7a
If you need to enter the information as a Claim of Right over $3,000
- Click on Federal Taxes
- Click on Deductions and Credits.
- Click on I'll choose what I work on.
- Scroll down to Other Deductions and Credits.
- On Other Deductible Expenses, click on the start or update button.
