Is it possible to attach a pdf document to a return that will be e-filed? The RMD for my wife's IRA was late because the account holder (T Rowe Price) failed to disburse it and didn't fix the error until January, and we have a letter from them admitting it was their fault.
If not, I'm sure I can insert it into a paper return.
