Please follow the directions below to enter your Form 1099-C:
- Log in and open your return
- Click the Search box in the top-right screen, and type Form 1099-C, and select the jump to link in the search results.
- On the next screen, select Yes.
- Select the type of cancelled debt you had.
- Follow the interview prompts to finish filing your cancelled debt.
Note: If you received a Form 1099-C for your main home and a Form 1099-C for other cancelled debt, you will not be able to use Turbotax as our software does not support this.
