The generation of Form 8606 by TurboTax is entirely automatic because there are no fields enterable directly on Form 8606 (except by override). TurboTax automatically removes Form 8606 when it is not required, so if Form 8606 is present, TurboTax apparently has determined that it is required. Under these circumstances, if you delete the Form 8606 TurboTax will automatically regenerate it.
