1099-R for pension, appearing as capitol gain
I received a 1099-R form for a pension that I receive from a company that I worked for long ago. On Schedule D this amount shows up as a capital gain on line 13 of part 2. It also is reported on schedule 1040, line 4d. Is this correct? In previous years it only appeared on schedule 1040, line 4d; i.e. it did not appear as a capital gain.
