Retirement tax questions
Your 1099-R entry form should be working in TurboTax. Here are some troubleshooting steps:
- Is your TurboTax software up to date? If you are using TurboTax Download/CD, check for updates (under Online menu on top row). If you are using an Online version it should update when you sign out and sign back in.
- Try to "clear your cache and cookies", using the TurboTax Help article at this link as a guide.
- Delete the 1099R form currently in your TurboTax, so that it will load a fresh one. Click here for the instructions to delete a form in TurboTax Online. If you are using the TurboTax Download/CD version, you click "Forms" (top right) and once in Forms mode you find any 1099R worksheets in the list in the left pane, and delete them.
