Based on your other income, up to %85 of your Social security income might be taxable. Enter your 1099-SSA Form and TurboTax will calculate the taxable amount of your Social Security Income. 

Here is how you can enter your 1099-SSA form: 

  1. Log in to your Account.
  2. Go to Federal Taxes .
  3. Go to Wages and Income.
  4. Go to Retirement Plans and Social Security and click show more.
  5. Click Revisit next to Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099).
