The details of Forms 1099 and Forms W-2 are included in your e-filing only if they show tax withholding, the same as the requirement for attaching these forms to your tax return if you mail it.
The IRS will often ask for physical copies if what you entered into TurboTax does not agree with what the forms that the IRS received from the payer show.
