Retirement tax questions
I have this same question. Sorry to hijack. But when I file my 2017 tax returns I won't have a 1099-r from the tira distribution but I will document that I contributed to my tira. For my 2018 tax return I will receive the 1099-r for the distribution and that is where my 2017 and possibly 2018 conversions will be captured. Is this the correct thought process?
