Retirement tax questions
When you receive Social Security benefits that are subject to federal income tax, you may be able to reduce or eliminate the amount of your benefits that are subject to Connecticut income tax.
Please see Line 41: Social Security Benefit Adjustment in the Form CT-1040 Instructions, and the Social Security Benefit Adjustment Worksheet on the next page to see how much, if any, of your Social Security benefits are subject to Connecticut state tax.
