Retirement tax questions
When filing joint, absolutely all income, every penny of it, gets reported on the tax return. Even if it's only $1 reported on the W-2, you have to report it. Remember, the IRS already has a copy of that W-2 and if you don't report it on your return, you will get flagged regardless of the amount.
