Do I have to purchase the self-employment package? I am trying to argue with IRS that I am not an independent contractor. I would prefer to be able to accomplish this task with turbo tax with the deluxe package. I also have a w-2 from a regular job. The 1099 is from a 3 month contract position last summer. I filed for misclassification already with the city.
