If you entered the information when doing your federal taxes, yes, that information will be transferred to your state return.
If you need to manually enter this in TurboTax, use the
instructions below.
Open (continue) your return.
- In the search
box, search for 1099-C (upper-
or lower-case, with or without the dash) and then click the "Jump
to" link in the search results.
- Select the
type of cancelled debt (main home or other) and then click Continue.
- Follow the
onscreen instructions to enter information from your 1099-C form.
