My started retirement benefits many years ago. After my father died my mother receives a reduced benefit code 4 on the 1099-R. Is this a survivorship benefit in Ohio?
Since this is coded 4 (death) on the 1099-R, I am wondering if is considered a survivorship benefit that is not subject to Ohio income tax.
