Please see the instructions below on how to enter your SSA-1099:
- Login to your TurboTax Account
- Click "Take Me To My Return"
- Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
- Scroll down to “Retirement Plans and Social Security” and click on “Show more”
- Scroll down and click "Start" next to " Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)"
- Continue answering questions until you get to the "Tell Us About the Benefits You Received" screen and enter the benefits (box 5) and taxes paid (box 6).
The taxes will be included on line 16 of form 1040.
