Retirement tax questions
No, you won't combine information for two different people. Each person's information should be handled separately. Since each of you only has one form, you don't have to worry about totaling the amounts. After you enter the LTC distribution information for the first person and continue through the interview, you'll be able to click Enter New Insured Person to add information for the second person. (Click the screenshots below for reference.)
Note: If one person had more than one 1099-LTC you would have totaled the amounts from the forms for that person before entering his or her information in TurboTax.
