Box 5 of the Form 1099-R in TurboTax is identical to box 5 on the actual form.
Please be sure that you are entering Form 1099-R in the retirement section and not in wages section. Also, be sure to enter the form into TurboTax exactly as it appears.
- Type 1099-R in the search box, hit Enter
- Select Jump to
1099-R blue
