I'm filing 1040EZ, so there is no line 14a. My SSA-1099 shows a negative amount in box 5 (-2,800) because I paid back that amount in 2016. I paid tax on my disability income for 2015, so shouldn't the 2,800 I paid back in 2016 appear on my 2016 return?
