I'm on LTD I receive monthly chks from a private LTD co. Shld I be entering the W2 frm thm in the 1st sect of the 1040 or should I be entering it in the 1099R section?

I've been on Long Term Disability since 2004 and always entered the info from the w2 i get from them in the first section of the 1040 (as if they were my employer)

Is that correct or should I be entering it in the 1099R section?
