Retirement tax questions
It depends, but you may wish to check your Form. If there is no box 16 on your form (which is usually where state taxable amount is listed on a W-2), you might not have a W-2, but another form, likely Form 1099-R. This is the form where retirement is usually located. If that is the case, you need to delete the W-2 entries and enter the information in a different place.
