OK, I just went through the same process with my program and it did remove the Military Retired Pay from IL taxable income. I was careful to enter the correct DFAS 1099-R info, especially the DFAS EIN (I'm retired military). I'll post the screenshots and hope that helps. (The additional $5K is from another pension distribution)
