You can delete the unwanted W-2 by following the steps below:
- Open your return.
- Search for W-2 (upper- or lower-case, with or without the dash) using the search or help feature in the upper right corner and then click the "Jump to" link in the search results.
- This brings you to the Review your W-2 info screen. Click delete next to the unwanted W-2 and then answer Yes on the following screen.
Or, to delete a W-2 you can also do the following:
- Open your return in TurboTax Desktop
- Click to Continue your return
- Click on Personal Income in TurboTax and then I'll choose what I work on
- At the top of the page, under Your 2017 Income Summary, you will see W-2's listed
- Click the Update button which will take you to the W2 screen. Click the delete button, next to the W-2 and confirm the deletion by clicking Yes
