Thank you Dave. I should have mentioned this is retirement income and form 1042-S is provided by her ex employer. Therefore I cannot import the information from a brokerage as you mention so I have to skip this step and enter it manually. The information is then saved as a 1099-R with no option to create a substitute 1099-R now offered by Turbo Tax, unlike prior years.
