For filing her final return ( for the year 2025), yes you have to use her SSN -- in TurboTax, after entering all the personal details, it will ask you about the "current status" of the person. This is where tick the box saying the "Name" has passed away -- it will also ask you for the date of demise.
Some where you have enter that you are filing in her name ( I don't remember exactly where in the screens).
You also have to include a form 1310 as the representative claiming her refund ( I believe this form forces you to file by mail ).
