Retirement tax questions
The workaround (this is apparently just a tax year 2025 issue), is to delete the 1099-SA you have already entered, and to start over.
To delete the 1099-SA that you have already entered, do the following:
*** Desktop/Windows***
1. go to View (at the top), choose Forms, and
2. select the desired form 1099-SA and delete it. Note the Delete Form button at the bottom of the screen.
*** Online ***
1. go to Tax Tools (on the left), and navigate to Tools->Delete a form
2. delete form(s) 1099-SA
3. go back and re-add your 1099-SAs preferably adding them manually
4. go back and redo the entire HSA interview....
If you have a Desktop/Mac environment and can't figure out how to delete a form, come back and ask.
