No, you cannot add a second SSA-1099 for yourself. You must add the boxes together and enter them as though it was one form.
You may have two scenarios taking place based on your information.
- A repayment of social security that was received in a prior year. This might be considered a 1321 repayment depending on your circumstances and the amount.
- A lump sum payment in 2025 for more than one tax year.
