TurboTax Online Premier can process a .pdf of an IRS form 1099-B in two different ways.
The .pdf can be uploaded and read by the software. However, your first communication expressed disappointment with this option.
The intent of my communication was to notify you that the information displayed on a .pdf of an IRS form 1099-B can also be reported in summary fashion.
At the end of that process, the .pdf of the IRS form 1099-B is uploaded into the software and transmitted to the IRS.
Using this method, you would not be required to snail mail a paper copy of the IRS form 1099-B to the IRS after electronically filing.
I am not recommending that you re-enter your W-2 form.
