Yes. If you would like to enter your Roth contributions so that TurboTax tracks your basis, here is how to do so in TurboTax Online:
- Go to Deductions & Credits
- Select the Retirement and Investments section, then select Start or Revisit next to Traditional IRA and Roth IRA.
- On the Tell us about your IRAs screen, check the Roth IRA box next to your wife's name and select Continue.
- Continue until you get to the screen [Your wife's name] Roth IRA to select Yes she contributed to a Roth IRA, continue until you are asked to enter the contributions
