No, you should enter your wife’s name as it appears on her Social Security Card to file your tax return. The IRS uses Social Security Administration's records to determine the identity of taxpayers.
If you try to change your name, the IRS will reject your tax return. Once you fix the error with USCIS and get her a new Social Security Card, you can enter her birth name, but for now use her name as it's on the card.
