Retirement tax questions

As Champ dmertz described previously, if your spouse is not self-employed, the total amount you contributed to her pension plan would be entered under Pension Plan Contributions from the Business Expenses page. 

 

The employee's contributions are included in W-2 wages and reported in Box 12 for the employee's use. W-2 Box 1 wages appear on Schedule C Line 16.

 

If you are working in Forms Mode (TurboTax Desktop), you can enter two lines on the Schedule C Wks under this topic. This separation would be for your records only. The total goes to Schedule C Line 19.
