When entering my W2, TurboTax prompted that my employer owes me refund money in excess social security tax paid. The amounts broken down in the screen show an 'Excess amount' that is actually incorrect when calculated manually. This is very alarming that a simple multiplication formula (wages x 6.5%) is not working in the system I've done my taxes on for years.
