Medicare Premium Deductability
On my SSA-1099SM I entered both the benefits paid in 2025 and deducted Medicare part B premiums. When I entered itemized additional medical expenses insurance premium section indicated at my SSA-1099SM Medicare part b premiums paid was taken into account plus my itemized insurance amounts (Tricare, vision, dental etc.). Originally I entered my SSA-1099SM Medicare part b premiums as an itemized medical expense. This itemized medical section said my SSA-1099SM part b premiums was already taken into account. So I deleted my SSA-1099SM Medicare part B premium amount but then my tax refund amount went down significantly. So is my SSA-1099SM Medicare part b premium added to my itemized medical expenses for purposes of calculating my 7.5% limit or not? Right now it appears it's not. If that is the case it appears I should delete it from my SSA-1099SM entry and include it in my itemized medical expenses.
