Retirement tax questions
No you do not need file Form 8606 for years where you did not make nondeductible Traditional IRA contributions. Please see Who Must File Form 8606 for details when to file Form 8606. As fanfare mentioned please make sure you keep your prior filed Forms 8606 until your IRA is empty.
