Please follow these instructions to enter all of the information from your Form 1099-INT, including the early savings withdrawal penalty:
- Sign In to TurboTax Online
- Click "Take Me to my Return"
- Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
- Scroll down and click "Edit/Add" next to "Interest on 1099-INT"
- Click "Edit" or "Delete" next to the Form 1099-INT that has the penalty
- Click the box "My form has more info than just Box 1"
- From here, the rest of the boxes on Form 1099-INT pop up so that you can enter your penalty (Click on screenshot below for reference)
