Retirement tax questions
It may have to do with the payer of the 1099-MISC and not Edward Jones. You may want to delete the 1099-MISC and then re-enter it.

This situation, may require you to clear the cookies and cache. It handles many issues that seem nonsensical on a regular basis with online activity.
- Close your TurboTax return first.
Watch to be sure you are selecting 'all time' as example. Do not use selections like 'last hour' for those browsers that give you options.
Once this is complete open your return and try again.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, save your return, then at the top select Online, then Check for updates.
The income from the Pennsylvania (PA) gas well is taxable on the PA tax return. The PA tax system is a filing requirement when taxable income is $33 or more. They have a flat rate of tax (3.07%) so a tax of $1 begins at $33.
Because Washington (WA) doesn't have an income tax, there is no need to file that tax return.
