Box 16 note for the 1099-R: Wouldn't it be nice if they updated the note to indicate that we should put the value from box 1 in the blank field from the form? It says to leave it blank if EXEMPT appears, but I had the situation where box 1 and box 14 have values but box 16 is blank. If could tell us to put the value from box 1 into TurboTax for box16 when blank.
