Bsch4477, Your message gave me some lights, Why this 401K RMD was not post on 5a 5b but 4a 4b It must be starting from the initial data input. which was loaded from the institutal operation services. Since there were some missing during the download process. I had to manally added data. I compared all retirement 1099R forms It appears no any visiable difference. I tried to reinput this RMD under several 1099R forms came from different instituts, finally one form make it move to 5a and 5b and the correct taxable amount is post. The problem is solved. In fact I really do not know what was the exact root cause. At least it is working now. Thank you so much for your help.
