Here are the steps to
enter the SSA-1099 in TurboTax Online:
- Sign into
your Online account
- Click the
orange button that says "Take me to my return."
- Go to
Federal Taxes
- Next
click on Wages and Income
- Scroll
down to Retirement Plans and Social Security and click "show more"(if applicabe)
- Next
click Start/Revisit next to Social Security (SSA-1099, RBR-1099)
Please follow the steps below
to enter the SSA-1099 in the TurboTax CD/Download software:
- Go
to Federal Taxes (Personal in Home
& Business)
- Next go
to Wages & Income or (Personal Income in Home & Business).
- Select I'll choose what I work on
- Scroll
down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
- Click on
the Start/Revisit button
next to Social Security (SSA-1099, RBR-1099)
